In 2023, Will Hartz joined forces with our session band (dubbed “The Midwives” in this project) consisting of Zack Page on bass, Herschel VanDyke on drums, Muddy Welles on lead guitar, and Jim Aaron on harmonica, with guest appearances from Jamar Woods on B3 (Sleep Alone and Heavy Door) and Casey James on pedal steel (Show Me).

We rehearsed and recorded these eight tracks over two days at Echo Mountain Recording, with Autumn Greenfield producing and Julian Dreyer at the board, engineering and mixing. Mastering by Dave Harris at Studio B Mastering.

“Easy” will be released on May 17, 2024.
